  • Abstract
The Center for Ocean Science Education Excellence (COSEE) Coastal Trends is addressing issues that face our changing coastal oceans through unique partnerships among research scientists, educators, and students. Using a team approach, we apply a visual approach to communicate key coastal trends messages. The teams utilize current research to develop ¿coastal trends modules¿ for use in the K-12 classroom and by the general public. This article features two education modules created by our Scientist-Educator teams, one on dead ¿zones¿ and the second on seagrasses.
