Patent and credentials translation

Summary form only given. We have developed two translation systems. 1. A patent translation system. The system is based on statistical machine translation (SMT) approach. The translation accuracy for Chinese-to-Japanese and Chinese-to-English are 60% and 80%, respectively. The system is integrated into a Chinese-Japanese cross language patent retrieval system. 2. A credentials translation system. The system combines several translation techniques, including template-based method and named entities translation. It can translate various kinds of credentials, such as diploma, ID card, business license, etc.
