Abstract :
This paper describes the topology of equilibrium points of longitudinal dynamics of hypersonic vehicles using numerical analysis method based on the model developed by Bolender and Doman. First, the set of equilibrium points of longitudinal dynamics in cruise condition is obtained under reasonable flight constraint and flight envelope expressed by flight velocity and altitude is approximately estimated. Second, the relationships of the angle of attack, elevator deflection and equivalence ratio to velocity and altitude are studied and three block diagrams for the three relationships are plotted respectively.
