Abstract :
The total reflection resonances that take place at the excitation of perforated screen with two apertures over the period are discussed. A pair of apertures with different dimensions provide the existence of rejection point at the frequency response. If appropriate dimensions of the slots are chosen, such a simple grid provides the rejection resonance of the required quality-factor and frequency. Numerical results concerning frequency and angle responses of two-aperture perforated screen are presented. Strict parallel between the rejection resonances in two-aperture screens and rejection waveguide irises is confirmed.
