Abstract :
In this paper we have analysed the axial symmetric diffraction for a finite cone excited by the ring magnetic source rigorously using the semi-inversion technique and have investigated physical effects connected with electromagnetic wave radiation of the electrodynamic system "conical surface-ring source". Based on the numerical analysis the parameters of this electrodynamic system that give the large dominant peak with small local peaks for far field have been found. The characteristics of the far field pattern and the distribution of the electromagnetic energy emitted by the ring source located above the conical screens are analysed. We analyse here, the scattering field patterns and radiation power and compare them with the same characteristics for semi-infinite cone as well as with the scattering characteristics of radial electric dipole at the conical axis.
