Abstract :
An efficient approach is presented for determining the generalized frequency response of periodically shift-variant digital filters based on the state-space description. A numerical example is given to illustrate the approach. The generalized frequency response can be evaluated by solving a finite system of linear algebraic equations following from the coefficient matrices of the state space representation. This approach opens a new way for analysis and synthesis of periodically shift-variant digital filters
