Abstract :
We propose a splitting strategy for wireless sensor network based on cluster coverage. We cluster the network and divide nodes into different partitions based on the information of cluster nodes and classification of energy value. In each round only one partition used for monitoring in a cluster and other partitions can sleep. When the energy of partition is exhausted, another partition will be wakeup to monitoring. Thus energy can be saved as much as possible. The experiment verifies the effectiveness of this approach.
