Abstract :
In order to make multimedia data transmission more robust and meet QoS requirements over wireless channel, Forward Error Correction codes (FEC) are joint with Automatic Repeat-reQuest (ARQ) and a novel Dual-Segment-Check CRC, to form hybrid ARQ (H-ARQ) mechanism, making the system not only have strong error correcting capability and high throughput, but also can adaptively adjust code rate as channel state changes.
