Abstract :
The peculiarities of the reflection and transition of electromagnetic waves from boundaries of space-time periodic dielectric slab with finite thickness located in the waveguide in the region of strong interaction between the signal wave and the modulated slab is investigated in this article. It is shown that in the case when the directions of the propagation wave and modulation wave of the slab do not coincide in the region of strong interaction in the field, external to modulation slab, in addition to fundamental harmonic, the plus first harmonic plays a substantial role.
