  • Abstract
    A circuit for communication through a series connection of photo-voltaic (PV) panels is proposed. By inserting a transformer in series with each panel, high frequency signals are coupled into or out from the DC line to the transceiver circuit. Communication is controlled by a master unit and the frequency of signal is 132.5 kHz. A 40W - amorphous PV panel impedance is used to demonstrate its operation.
