Abstract :
The effect of electrohydrodynamic (EHD) disintegration of charged droplets can be used to enhance transfer processes in charged double phase gas/drops systems. The numerical calculations of the possible mass and heat transfer during charged droplet EHD disintegrations are carried out. The influence of one time loss of charge and mass on the transfer phenomena is investigated. The conditions of the stability of daughter droplet and instability of siblings after disintegration of the mother droplet are taken into consideration. The limit of the number of EHD disintegrations which needs to be taken into consideration in the calculations is discussed.
