Abstract :
This paper proposes a single diode solar cell model, considering the effect of irradiance and temperature on the photovoltaic cells, and also proposes the methodology of photovoltaic array arrangement consequently in order to reduce the number of maximum power points and then to achieve the maximum power. This research considers the impact of different light intensity on the photovoltaic array due to partial shading. In addition, the comparison of electrical power based on a practical method and the proposed method is incorporated. The result indicates that the proposed method can increase the generated power more than the practical method and can reduce the number of maximum power points.
