Abstract :
Scilab is a technical computing environment programming language and an open source software. Due to its ease of use and its strong graphics capabilities, it has become popular across many disciplines. The jLab environment provides a Scilab like scripting language that is executed by an interpreter implemented in the Java language. This language supports all the basic programming constructs and an extensive set of built in mathematical routines that cover all the basic numerical analysis tasks. This paper concentrates on the topic to present a solution of Java interface for Scilab which is based on the jLab environment, and we describe how to use this interface.
