Abstract :
The applicability of a simple solar cell model for enhancing the performance and the I-V curve through least-square fitting is investigated. Computer-aided characterization techniques are used to analyze the illuminated and dark forward I-V characteristics. A modified and simplified mathematical model is employed in the study of diffusion current, saturation current, diode quality factor, and thermal voltage. Good agreement is obtained between experimental results and calculated values
