Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a method of information presentation by augmented reality as a method for enhancing the safety for work with danger, such as a construction site. In order to realize augmented reality, we employ a computer-vision based tracking method. Augmented reality is a technology for connecting real world and virtual world, and we can see virtual objects in the real world. If we can display virtual objects on an appropriate place, we can give users information, which is required by them. For displaying information, precise registration between the real world and the virtual world is needed. We build a tracking system with high accuracy and real-time processing by template matching for augmented reality.
