Abstract :
A short overview of telemedicine in terms of information technology and a possible structure of a telemedicine system with scanning optical microscope use is presented in this paper. Some advantages of scanning optical microscopy are stated. The main parameters of the realized scanning microscope are indicated. The perspectives of a scanning optical stereo microscope are discussed
