Abstract :
In this paper, the problem of a line source radiation on top of a grounded dielectric slab covered with a graphene sheet is analyzed through the method of plane waves expansion. It is demonstrated that besides providing the tunability of radiation parameters, existence of graphene on top of the substrate, eliminates the effect of image current and stabilizes the radiation pattern for a very large frequency range. As a result, the radiation bandwidth can be significantly increased by choosing an appropriate value for the chemical potential μc.
