Abstract :
This paper presents a novel localization method for a magnetic dipole source. Using a certain combination of gradiometers, which consist of oppositely wound circular loops by turns, complex gradients of the magnetic flux can be measured. An algorithm to express the dipole location directly by the complex gradients is shown.
