Abstract :
Controller was designed for an OTEC (ocean thermal energy conversion) experimental plant. The nonlinear separation control, which consists of nonlinear statics compensation and linear dynamics compensation, is adopted for OTEC controller design. Effectiveness of the proposed controller was assured by simulation study using an OTEC simulator.
