Abstract :
Optical multihop networks of regular structure are the common choice for fast communication networks. Its structure is appropriate also as multiprocessing architectures. This paper describes some routing procedures applied in mesh topology networks. These algorithms with slight modifications may be implemented in almost all types of multihop networks. The cellular neural network, according to its structure, resembles very much mesh networks, and thus is proposed for arbitration between the packets that are to be deflected or buffered in communication network nodes. The parallel analog processing obtained leads to very fast and optimal routing
