Abstract :
The architecture of a modular VLSI signal processor with highly reconfigurable architecture is discussed. The processor has three types of modules: function modules; interconnection modules; and signal generation/nonlinear function generation modules. Signals are represented as currents. Multiplying transconductance amplifiers are used to implement linear and nonlinear programmable building blocks
