  • Abstract
    In this paper a modified phase-angle control (PAC) technique is proposed. The proposed technique is applied for an AC voltage converter with reduced number of controlled switches. The performance evaluation of the converter has been illustrated as applied to a single-phase voltage regulator by an example of pure resistive and inductive loads to verify the feasibility of the proposed technique.
