Abstract
The application of parallel form block discrete time filters is demonstrated for switched capacitor analog circuit technology. An example circuit design is given for a fourth order elliptic filter implemented with a factor of L =d4 speed-up over conventional circuits. Special circuitry to implement a one-to-L serial-to-parallel input sampler and an L -to-1 parallel-to-serial input selector is described. Theory and simulation show that the feasibility of the state variable block filters generates low coefficient sensitivity switched capacitor filters
