  • Abstract
The principal cause of unsatisfactory serviceability of resonator systems with an even numbered mode oscillation, apparently, is because of mistakes in the choice of output of energy parameters which, as shown by the research carried out by the authors, occurs rather frequently in centimeter wave magnetrons. Low-power low-voltage and short-wave magnetrons are characterized by a minimum level of coupling with external loading which, to a certain extent, causes an increase in selectivity of the energy output transforming device, reduction of magnitude reproducibility and the character of the introduced resistance. Therefore, in these magnetrons, the probability of deterioration of serviceability of the π-mode with an even number grows. At the same time, a technique for estimating the working frequencies band of the transforming device proposed in (A. A. Gurko, Telecom. and Radio Eng., vol.52, no. 2, p.59-64, 1998) allows one to ensure an active resistance of the power output and thus "destruction" of the spatial harmonics spectrum of an operating oscillation mode.
