Abstract :
In the past few years GPS (Global Position System) products have started the move from the “innovative gadget” to “everyday tool”. This development has been helped by the standard methods of cost and size reduction and a general rise in public awareness of the capabilities of the system. There has also been an explosive growth in the variety of applications where GPS can be used. SiRF Technology has created the SiRFstarTM architecture to address the changing needs of GPS consumers as mainstream applications overtake traditional GPS products
