Abstract :
The electronic efficiency of a TWT on a regular coupled-cavities does not exceed 20-30% in the S and X-bands and 5-10% in the Q-band. The application of recuperative systems allows us to increase the common efficiency of devices to near 10-20%. The optimization of the irregular TWT allows us to produce variants of devices with a calculated electronic efficiency of more than 30% in the Q-band. In this paper, taking into account a backward wave and with the application of atomic functions, the synthesis of parameters of the equivalent circuit quadripoles and six-poles, the results of the optimization of coupled-cavity TWT-BWO-TWTs on wavy bending rectangular waveguides (TWT WB) are given.
