Abstract :
This paper presents a modified Bilinear Transformation that allows magnitude linearity at a wider range of frequencies. The method is used to synthesize linear networks in the state space form. The network is discretized using high sampling rate, but implemented at a lower rate. This is possible because it uses multirate processing as well as the interaction between network and interpolation filter. Several examples show that frequency distortion is reduced at a lower computational burden
