Abstract :
Two rotor hovering system has quite similar dynamics to the lateral motion dynamics of VTOL aircraft to which many nonlinear design methods have been applied. In this paper, two kinds of gain scheduling controllers are designed for a flight control problem of the hovering system. The control performances such as stability and tracking speed are examined by using an experimental setup.
