Abstract :
It is well recognized that for target tracking in a cluttered environment, obtaining a correct measurement to track association is an important step because it has a great influence on the final tracking results. Recent research efforts have been focusing on the application of discrete optimization techniques to the data association problem. In this paper, we propose a tracking algorithm for estimating the track of a maneuvering target in a cluttered environment using the Viterbi algorithm for discrete optimization
