Abstract
Effects of ionizing radiation exposure on a well-known solution processed organic semiconducting material, poly 3-hexylthiophene (P3HT) has been studied. Photoelectron spectroscopy techniques and UV/vis spectra showed an increase in the p-type doping in P3HT. Based on these changes in the electrical properties of P3HT, organic electronic devices are evaluated in this work as sensors for ionizing radiation.
