Abstract :
This paper presents a software package which is intended to help in teaching the fundamentals of digital signal processing. Representations in both time and frequency domains are provided. The package is developed in MATLAB and has been conceived in the form of m-files. All functional files are integrated into a whole and are called through appropriate menus; any single file can also be called by specifying its name. The contents of the package are presented in the main menu and contains: Discrete-Time Description of Signals and Systems; Frequency Analysis; Z-Plane; Digital Filters and Pole-Zero Placement; IIR Filter Design; FlR Filter Design; and Random Discrete-Time Signals
