Abstract :
Societies become more and more demanding regarding the future distribution networks role and functionalities. They will have to be accessible to whole actors and in particularly to renewable energies. They must be economic managing for the best the energy efficiency of the system and the energy politics (competition, deregulation). Finally, they must be reliable in order to satisfy the societal expectations which are more and more dependant on the electrical energy. The distribution network definitely has to evolve to satisfy these expectations while trying to optimally use the existing network to minimize the global cost. One of the possible evolutions is the research of new topologies and associated operation modes for the bidirectionality of the distribution network. This paper proposes planning and operation methods to bring distribution network more flexible for the integration of renewables.
