  • Abstract
The present paper proposes a simple easy to design and implement scheme to employ fuel cells as the sole power source for super-yachts. The scheme relies on using a micro-vaporizer to reduce the volume of the processor associated with each fuel cell and alleviate the need for hydrogen storage. Moreover, SLICE hull is used to take advantage of the SLICE to store the motors and fuel cell array. In addition to that, a simple strategy is suggested to enhance the reliability of the proposed fuel cell array. The feasibility of the proposed design is demonstrated through a case study of designing a super-yacht called Heaven.
