Abstract :
Fiber-optic sensor for fluoresce thermometer is developed using Eu end doped silica fiber. Fluorescence peaks were clearly observed at lambda=433 nm, 438 nm and 617 nm from Eu end doped silica fibers sensor. Peak increased linearly with temperature of the sensor. Intensity ratio of the peaks at lambda=433 nm and 617 nm, I433/617, also increased linearly with temperature of the sensor. Intensity ratio, I433/617, was suitable for the temperature measurement because of it is large temperature coefficient
