Abstract
A temperature measurement system based on the temperature dependence of the phase shift of fluorescence response was developed. The temperature measurement system consist of the light source, photo detector, phase shift display and phosphor sensor sheet. The fluorescence lifetime from the phosphor sensor sheet was measured with a phase shift measurement technique. The phase shift of the fluorescence response from the phosphor sensor sheet decreased linearly with temperature from 270 K to 350 K. The temperature measurement system using phase shift is found to be powerful tool for temperature measurement, and can be used for non-contact temperature measurement
