Abstract :
The operation of Adaptive Educational Hypermedia System (AEHS) is highly dependent of models built that describe the behavior of students and the system itself. To cope with the increasing complexity of these systems has become necessary to build reliable systems whose ambiguities can be reduced by formal specifications. So to complement the design methodologies this paper presents a model for specifying the adaptive navigation support of the AEHS. The methodology uses the Category Theory (CT) as formal method that offers a high degree of generalization to describe various components of the system. The article presents the categorical model of the main techniques in adaptive navigation for building an educational support system in Neuroanatomy.
