Abstract
A software package called SYSTOL, which implements the synthesis of systolic arrays from recurrence equations, is presented. The steps are explained with an example of a triangular system resolution. The authors also examine the LU matrix decomposition problem; for this problem SYSTOL synthesizes automatically a very classical array
