Abstract
The authors propose an absorbing boundary condition that can be applied to an outer boundary of arbitrary shape, even one that is conformal to the geometry of the scatterer. In order to investigate the application of the new boundary condition, several strip and wedge type geometries were considered, both for TE and TM incidence.<>
