Abstract
In mobile ad hoc networks, the status of the network changes over time due to the movement of terminals, the battery level of terminals, and so on. To construct assurance networks, it is necessary to consider the requirements such as dependability, security, and adaptability against the change of the network. We have proposed a new routing method, which is referred to as MLR (Micro Loop Routing) for mobile ad hoc networks. In this paper, we observe the throughput of MLR over time, and show that MLR has drawbacks to be overcome. We propose an extended MLR to improve the assurance. We have implemented our method to the simulator, and have conducted experiments to measure the performances over time. The results indicate that our method is effective for adapting to energy consumption of nodes in mobile ad hoc networks.
