Abstract
It has been shown that the diffraction radiation antennas with electromechanical scanning drive provide all the necessary parameters needed for making automotive radars from 76 to 77 GHz. A total absence of any rubbing components and rotary SHF junctions secures a long service life, which is quite sufficed to exceed the life of a contemporary car.
