Abstract
T projects have high failure rates due to incomplete system requirements, rapidly-changing technology, unmanaged risks and poor communication between customers and service providers. Government organizations are increasingly dependent on information systems to carry out their operations, to improve the productivity of work and to deliver the government services to the citizen. IT project failures in government may endanger national security, citizens´ lives, privacy and property. The authors present the issues of IT projects and a practical service in assuring and managing e-Government project in Korea.
