Study of the graduates from Computer Science department of the Catholic University Andres Bello in Caracas

This paper presents a descriptive study to obtain information on the career of the graduates in the Computer Science Department at the Catholic University Andrés Bello in Caracas. From the first class in 2001, to the most recent data in 2012, 696 professionals have graduated. So far, any department has not done a study of this nature within the university. This project is based on previous works made by the ANUIES (Asociación Nacional de Universidades e Instituciones de Educación Superior). Using this study, the Computer Science Department invite theirs graduates to complete a survey diffuses through google platform docs for the period of March 7th to July 11th, 2012. 232 graduates responded, representing 33.3% of the total population.
