Notice of Retraction

The evaluation indicators system is established for land use efficiency from the aspects of economy, society and environment. The efficacy coefficient method is used to evaluate the efficiency of land use in Chengdu from 2000 to 2008. The results show that the land use efficiency in Chengdu is rising and this benefits from the promotion of economic, social and ecological efficiency. With the rapid growth of economic efficiency from 2006, social and ecological efficiency have decreased.
