Abstract
With the development of the mobile ad hoc network (MANET), QoS and energy issues become more and more important. In the past, these two issues were treated separately. We investigate a new way to combine the two and propose a new routing strategy, Q-MTPR. Through simulation, we show that our scheme outperforms both MTPR (minimum total transmission power routing) and WSP (widest-shortest-path) in blocking probability while it is not inferior to MTPR in node lifetime.
