Abstract :
• Digital compensation techniques will allow for removal of most RF “errors” in future wireless transceivers. • The fundamental dynamic range performance limits then become noise (at the low end) and power supply voltage (at the high end). • The overhead associated with implementing these algorithms will continue to fall as CMOS technology scales in the future. • Future microwave systems research should focus on the interaction between digital and RF design techniques
