Abstract
QoS routing is one of the most important functions for the integrated services networks. Security in MANET QoS routing has received increased attention recently. The purpose of this study is to propose a mechanism to achieving secure MANET QoS routing with regard to QoS considerations. This study aimed at presenting a new mechanism for on-demand multi-path routing protocol (AOMDV) that tackles the twin issues of QoS reliability and security with minimizing data redundancy. In addition, we utilize coding techniques and dispersing the original data over multiple paths. As another security tool we use the hop-by-hop authentication mechanism that prevents some important and known attacks. Simulation results show that our proposed mechanism provides high packet delivery ratio and has low overhead.
