  • Abstract
    This paper presents a novel method for the analysis of Substrate Integrated Slab Waveguides (SISWs), recently proposed as wideband integrated transmission lines. This method applies to the analysis of H-plane waveguides, filled with a dielectric medium perforated with air holes. The analysis is based on the segmentation technique combined with the BI-RME method, which permit to determine the generalized admittance matrix of the circuit and, finally, the dispersion diagram of the SISW. Some numerical and experimental results are reported.
