Abstract :
Quality of service (QoS) has become an important issue in the design and management of web services due to the vast number of services that provide the same functionality but with different qualities. Quality of service in web services consists of various non-functional factors such as execution cost, execution time, availability, successful execution rate, and security. Also, clients usually demand multiple functionalities from services which requires the composition of several web services. Therefore, selecting a composition plan of web services from among numerous plans that satisfies client requirements has become an important issue. In this paper a new method for QoS-base web service composition using PSO algorithm is presented. The performance of this method has been evaluated in a simulated environment and compared with other methods.
