  • Abstract
    A high core-number plastic optical fiber (POF) image guide is applied to hologram transmission in phase-shifting digital holography. To evaluate the quality of reconstructed images, the modulation transfer function (MTF) of the reconstructed images is investigated using a USAF test target as an object. In addition, the hologram transmission is also simulated using a new pattern of cores in POF and then calculated results are compared with the experimental one. Finally, we conducted a preliminary experiment of a multipoint view using two POF image guides and single CCD image sensor.
