Abstract :
The authors describe the creation of an array of electronic circuit components fabricated on the ATT CBIC V-2 process. The array consists of transistors, resistors and capacitors optimized for the design of high speed analog functions. These components form a base chip that was initially used to produce a family of four state-of-the-art high speed operational amplifiers. This approach was taken to maximize the productivity of this design effort as well as to reduce the cost associated with the development effort. It was desired to have an array that was capable of shortening the product design cycle without significantly compromising its performance
